Lackey encouraged by start 
Right-hander John Lackey, hampered by shoulder soreness this spring, pitched three scoreless innings Wednesday against the Rangers. "I was real encouraged," said Lackey, who allowed one hit while walking none and striking out one. "The ball felt like it was coming out good. It's a good one to build on.
