Angels give Arredondo year deal 
The Angels agreed to terms with LHP Joe Saunders, RHP Jose Arredondo, RHP Scott Dunn, RHP Steven Shell and OF Nick Gorneault on one-year contracts. Saunders, who the Angels selected ahead of Scott Kazmir in the draft, and offseason acquisition swing man Hector Carrasco are the front-runners for the No. 5 starter's job unless the Angels add a pitcher before spring.
